What is the role of the Home Ownership Team?

The Home Ownership Team (HOT) is based in the Homes in Havering offices in Chippenham Road, Romford.

The team processes tenants' Right to Buy applications, checking entitlement, calculating discount, organising property valuations and sending the price details to tenants.

In addition the Home Ownership Team manages the Council's leasehold service charge accounts. This includes calculating service charges, sending invoices, monitoring accounts, investigating queries about service charges, providing information for leaseholders selling their properties and dealing with lease breaches.
